is it true that its hard to find a job for lvn?
specially for new graduate?? i was planning to go back to school to take lvn. but my friend told me instead of taking LVN i should go straight to RN cz some of the LVN are having finding job specially in my area (los angeles, ca).. and i don't want to waste my time(i'm not getting younger..so i need a better career)..i'm a single mom so guys i need ur opinion..anything...thanks

Six domestic violence shelters in California have been forced to close while dozens more are scaling back services after Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger eliminated all state funding for the program that supports them. Shelters in the Central Valley town of Madera, the Sierra foothill town of Grass Valley and in Ventura County in Southern California have closed. Others in the San Francisco Bay area, Los Angeles and Bakersfield are on the verge of closing. Many centers are laying off staff and closing satellite offices that serve remote areas of the state as they cope with the budget cuts. A national domestic violence group describes California's as the deepest cuts to such programs nationwide, even as other states have reduced funding. In Madera County, officials have turned away six domestic violence victims and eight children since the county's only shelter closed Aug. 7, said Tina Figueroa, the shelter's director. The Martha Diaz Shelter served about 100 victims a year, many of them low-income and with no place else to turn, she said. "Their only option is the local rescue mission, but they're reluctant to go there because it's a majority of men (who stay there)," Figueroa said. "Also, it's not protected. What would you say is the best dog food, and why?
I've read so many articles about why this dog food is bad, or why this one is AWESOME for your dog. Now, those, of course, were all biased articles from the company, or a vet endorsed by those labels. I need to know from an unbiased source what IS the best brand to feed my beloved. They have no special needs, I have no problem getting "boutique brands" in my area (Los Angeles, CA). All I need to know is: - Why you chose this brand. BE HONEST. You can even say it's because its cheap! :P - What are the pros about this brand. - What are the CONS about this brand. Guess it's time to change vets :P Oops! Forgot to mention what breeds, weights and ages. 1) Rough Collie - around 45-50lbs, 1 year 8 months. Somewhat picky about her food. 2) Golden Retriever - around 85-90lbs, not overweight, the breeder specializes in larger golden rets for hunting, not showing. 1 year 6months. He used to just GOBBLE it all up, but now he's more into eating when he really IS hungry. 3) Mutt. I believe she's a lab x pit x boxer x staffordshire.
