Los Angeles Vacation Rentals

If you're looking for a fun and exciting holiday destination, why not check out Los Angeles?

There's just so much to see and do in this amazing city that you will never be bored in LA, the second largest city in the USA.

And if you're looking for somewhere to stay during your travels, you will find various vacation rentals here, so this area is ideal for a self catering vacation for all the family.

Not surprisingly, there are numerous attractions and places to visit in LA, including some definite must-sees along the way!

For example, there's Hollywood, Grauman's Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Universal Studios Hollywood, Venice Beach, the Getty Center, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles Zoo and much more besides!

The LA district of Hollywood is a great place to visit, particularly if you're a movie buff. Here you will be able to see the famous Hollywood Sign, which is 450 feet long. You can't miss it!

Also in Hollywood is Grauman's Chinese Theatre, where you can have a look at all the celebrity autographs, handprints and footprints in its forecourt. Some of the stars' imprints you can see include Warren Beatty, Nicolas Cage, Jim Carrey, Tom Cruise, Michael Douglas, Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford, Judy Garland, Richard Gere, Mel Gibson, Cary Grant, Tom Hanks, Marilyn Monroe, Eddie Murphy, Paul Newman, Jack Nicholson, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Steven Seagal, Sylvester Stallone, Elizabeth Taylor, Denzel Washington, Robin Williams, Bruce Willis - plus many more!

While you're in Hollywood, you might also want to visit the Hollywood of Fame, where you can spot lots of celebrities' stars on the pavement. Look out for the stars featuring the names of Kevin Costner, Tom Cruise, Harrison Ford, Judy Garland, Alfred Hitchcock, Michael Jackson, Elton John, Nicole Kidman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Elvis Presley, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Britney Spears, Steven Spielberg, Sylvester Stallone, Elizabeth Taylor, Renee Zellweger and even Lassie and Mickey Mouse!

Universal Studios Hollywood is another superb LA visitor attraction which all the family will enjoy. It has some amazing rides and shows, a fantastic Studio Tour - and lots more. Here you will also find Universal CityWalk, which boasts cinemas, restaurants, the Gibson Amphitheatre (where you can see concerts) and some great nightlife.

If you want to take a break from the sightseeing, you should head to the famous Venice Beach. It's a popular tourist attraction and has a great atmosphere, with its artists, street performers and fortune-tellers etc.

Another great place where you can unwind during your holiday is Griffith Park, which is a perfect area to enjoy a picnic or let the kids play.

Los Angeles is also a good destination for those who love to go shopping. You might like to take a stroll along Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills (an exclusive shopping street in where you might spot a celebrity or two, as the stars are among those who like to shop here) or visit LA Farmers Market (which is a good place to stock up on some provisions for your self catering holiday).

If you're looking to indulge in a spot of retail therapy, you will certainly get the opportunity here in LA. For example, you can check out LA Fashion District (which is in downtown LA) and the Beverly Center (which boasts a huge number of shops, such as Macy's, Bloomingdale's and much more).

Los Angeles is an ideal American holiday destination for everyone. Whether you're planning a sightseeing vacation, a family trip or a relaxing break, you will have fun in this fantastic city!
