Los Angeles, Ca - Real Estate
Beverly Hills is a city found in Los Angeles County, CA. The city and neighboring West Hollywood are both completely surrounded by the city of Los Angeles. The area's wealthiest neighborhoods, comprising the most exclusive real estate in the nation, include Beverly Hills and the neighborhoods of Bel-Air and Holmby Hills.
One of the most well known features of Beverly Hills is the Sunset Strip, which is shared with nearby West Hollywood, on the famed Sunset Blvd. Other roads of note include Wilshire Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd. Two of the shopping streets are Beverly Drive and Rodeo Drive. Coldwater Canyon Drive is the main road connecting Beverly Hills to the San Fernando Valley.
Everyone in Beverly Hills is not wealthy, as portrayed by Hollywood. Though some of the largest mansions in Los Angeles County are within its area, they make up only about 10 percent of the city. The remaining residences include relatively modest duplex rental units and detached homes covering less than 3, 000 square feet. A few areas within Los Angeles County are more uniformly wealthy and can boast of a higher household median income than Beverly Hills. The city's average household income, a bit more than 71, 000 dollars, is only 18, 000 dollars greater than the county average.
Currently, Beverly Hills has the most expensive housing market in America, for the second year in a row with a median home cost of 2.21 million dollars.
The median household income for the city was nearly 71, 000, about average for an upper-middle class suburb and near to the median for the city of San Jose, situated in the same State. However, the median cost for an owner-occupied house is more than one million dollars. The underlying reason for this is the atypically large proportion of renters in the city. So many renters live in Beverly Hills that persons who own homes are not the majority. Renter-occupied homes comprise 56.6 percent of the city's residences and the median household income for these housing units is a bit below 50, 000 dollars, just a bit above average for the entire nation. The median household income for an owner-occupied housing unit is 125, 000 dollars.
Beverly Hills has three newspapers: the Beverly Hills Courier, Beverly Hills Weekly and Beverly Hills 213 magazine. The Beverly Hills Post, once one of the main papers, is no longer in business. Because of where it is situated, the city is served by all Los Angeles TV, radio, and newspaper media.

Does Becerra as US Trade Representative represent change you can believe in?
Becerra's only experience is in getting pardons for a drug dealer and getting lighter sentences for the Clinton's relatives. I guess is the change that Obama said people could believe in. Right?
The California congressman in discussions with President-elect Barack Obama to become U.S. trade representative played a role in President Bill Clinton's commuting the prison sentence of a cocaine dealer. The cocaine dealer's family had made $15,000 in political donations to the congressman and hired Clinton's brother-in-law for $200,000 to help free Carlos Vignali.
Becerra was a candidate for mayor of Los Angeles in early 2001 when it came to light that he and several other politicians and prominent public figures wrote letters supportive of Vignali, who was accused of shipping 800 pounds of cocaine ? worth about $5 million then ? from Los Angeles to Minneapolis.

If Obama grants $2.4 Billion dollars to Los Angeles, do you think only 4,936 jobs is all that can be created?
Looks like only the illegals from Mexico are going to be working according to the planned projects, here, to me. What do you think? If the projects don't include beautifying our schools and giving teachers a raise, etc., and along these lines, then the money will be transported to Mexico and will be lost. What do you think?
Los Angeles, Calif.
Projects: $2.4 billion
Jobs estimate: 4,936
Perhaps hoping to avoid a repeat of the California Water Wars, Los Angeles could swiftly use up $852 million on some 28 different water projects (that have already been funded, so this is a scam). Many of L.A.'s projects have a green tilt, too: $100 million for car pool lane enhancements on I-405 (another scam), $110 million for clean fuel trucks (which buys new trucks for the Mexicans coming to deliver from Mexico, another scam) and $77 million to rehabilitate the ecosystem of Machado Lake (another scam).
So, it looks like the mayor of Los Angeles is going to do a 'Ponzi Scheme' here, and Obama needs to scrutinize who he gives our tax dollars too. Are we concerned yet?

Immigrants running America? Fire the Mayor of Los Angeles and Governor of CA?
But wait...he's back for another turn...
JUST in time to see wither Los Angeles or California IMPLODE...the 5th largest financial entity was taken over by two very STUPID immigrants...they sure got their photo OP's!!!
Let's give a big hand to the Governor of California and The Mayor of Los Angeles.
Why not call them up at their respective offices and ask then what they THEY do for 6 years when the state of California and the City of Los Angeles were on a spending frenzy with grossly inflated property taxes generating BILLIONS of wind-falls...go ahead...ask then what they do with THAT $$$$$
Here's a 3rd world idea that might work? More CASINO'S...more lottery ticket sales...more prisons built...more govt jobs(social services for people too screwed up for life)
Your thoughts?
BTW...I do live in California...and I see first-hand how this state has been run into the ground by people who are lying sacks of stinking GARBAGE!!!
