Los Angeles City Guide Traveling To Los Angeles and Need a Guide

Los Angeles City Guide

Los Angeles is a big city, and whether you are a resident or are just visiting, it can be difficult to navigate yourself through it. There are many exciting ways to experience the City of Angels, and to thoroughly enjoy your time there, you should visit as many of them as possible. Sometimes, however, it is difficult to find out the exact location of each of these places of interest; if this is the case, visit www.inlosangeleslive.com.

http://www.inlosangeleslive.comis a website dedicated to informing residents and visitors of the many Los Angeles restaurants, bars, nightclubs and various businesses. www.inlosangeleslive.com also allows you to find out what the weather in Los Angeles is like, as well as the traffic and sports scores. If you are interested in real estate in the Los Angeles area, the website has a comprehensive listing of current market offerings.

The business listings on the site acts as a glorified yellow pages; it allows you to search for businesses by category, or by name or keyword. The website will even provide a map for a specific business, or will give you directions based off of your starting location. Classified ads and job listings are also available for those searching for a local solution. If searching for new employment, the candidate has the option of saving the job, emailing the job information to a personal email, or by clicking a link to engage in a direct application process. The enquirer has the option of searching by post date or job category.

Real estate has never been easier to navigate; search through apartments listings, housing listings, and hotel rates. For those with a traveling bug, the website lists airfare promotions from cities across the country; most of which can be purchased for under $200. The website also has a link to numerous third-party websites where you can inexpensively plan your entire trip at once. If you would like to go to a concert or sport event, www.inlosangeleslive.com has a comprehensive listing of upcoming events occurring in the Los Angeles area; from Lakers games to sold-out concerts. The website also has a 'Top Recommended Events' tab if you are feeling adventurous and want to experience something new. Tickets are purchased through TicketMaster, so you can have peace of mind that your financial transactions are safe and secure.

For those of us who are unfamiliar with the Los Angeles freeway system, the website offers user-friendly city and travel guides. The website hosts a traffic webcam, so you can plan out your driving routes appropriately; something that even the veteran Angeleno will find extremely useful. If you are a surfer or an enthusiast, www.inlosangeleslive.com provides information on Los Angeles surf spots and forecasts.

www.inlosangeleslive.com broadcasts local and national news from CNN News and CNN Money. The website also hosts money and finance articles, as well as sports headlines.

A simple click on the Business Listings link and a search for 'Bars' will render you a complete listing of the hundreds of bars which can be visited in the Los Angeles area. If you are a business owner, you can even list your business for free. The website allows you to advertise on their pages, or create your own business account where you can post coupons, provide additional information, or interact with your customers. The pricing is very affordable, and allows you the option of customizing your own business page on the InLosAngeles website.

Regardless of whether you are a local, or are planning a vacation or move to Los Angeles, www.inlosangeleslive.com has everything you need to know about the city, it's weather, events, nightlife, real estate, and much more.

19 year old female trying to join the Marines.. recruiter trouble?
hello I'm 19 yrs old just graduated high school I've been seeing a Marine recruiter since march. I went to M.E.P.S on August and took the asvab. I also went to an event with other teens considering the Marines. I thought I was on my road to joining the Marines, but now the recruiter has not been taking me serious.. Im not sure if he is, because I've been trying to attend the workout sessions since I've began seeing him, but he never really agrees. He tells me to wake up at 5 to go workout so I do, but he never shows up or calls. Every time I tell him what I else I have to do he tells me just workout. Just yesterday he told me that all the enlisted spots were taken and I wont be able to ship out on January like I'd originally hoped. I told him why and he told me I didn't score high enough on the ASVAB even though he didn't tell me anything that day at MEPS. And that he had met his quota and that all the enlisted spots were already taken in the city of Los Angeles. Plus every time we meet he's always cracking jokes, which is okay, but he seems not to take what I ask seriously.IDK does someone else have this problems with their recruiters?? Is it possible for all the enlisted spots to be filled? p.s is it normal for the Marine recruiter to chase a girl down in the car while he's taking me back home after meeting with him? I kinda thinks that's weird, but he just told me if i never had fun? 0.o please help if anybody has any information.. thank you!! pls not hate full comments =)

Trained but business is dodging paying me?
Mid September I began training at a new restaurant (that is partly funded by the city of Los Angeles) to be a waitress. I was told to come back in 4 weeks to start working the night shift. Friday rolled around and my check for the training did not arrive. I was told it would come the next week. Next week it did not come. Then the next week, no check again. I talked to the manager in charge of payroll and he told me it was because of the city program not sending in proper paperwork and to come by Monday and he would give me the late paperwork to sign.(Found out later by an insider that he was lying) I came in Monday and he told me that I didn't actually need to sign anything and that my "check will most likely roll into my next paycheck when I start my actual work" I just kind of meekly said OK and that was about 3 weeks ago now. He kept pushing my work date further back, then in the last week he popped up with this "you need to get a food handling certification certificate in order to start working at the restaurant". This is all about a week before my new November start date. I was suppose to start OCT 12th. He still has failed to pay me the owed money from training and I feel like these are all excuses to shut me up and delay everything so the restaurant does not have to pay me. I sent him a text today stating that I no longer want to be associated with L.A Reflection and that I will be by Monday to pick up my check. He has yet to reply. My question after all that history is who do I go to and complain to when he refuses to pay me on Monday? I know its going to happen and I need specific references to go to.
